Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Schaller hitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meyer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Earth Crisis - "Killing Brain Cells". Schaller hitman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hitman blocks a head kick by Meyer.
hitman scores a takedown into full mount!
hitman looking for a guillotine from mount but Meyer is having none of it.
hitman goes for an armbar but Meyer turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Meyer.
hitman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Meyer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Meyer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Meyer stands up over hitman, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Meyer misses with a takedown attempt
and hitman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
hitman has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
hitman with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
hitman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meyer on the ground.

hitman has hold of Meyer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Meyer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

hitman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meyer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Meyer tries to clinch
so hitman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meyer is trying to keep hitman in close.
hitman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meyer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

I really don't envy hitman right now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Schaller hitman will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

hitman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no hitman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Meyer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of hitman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take hitman's back!

Meyer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. hitman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Meyer has his foot on hitman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. hitman works his way back into a safe position though.
And that's the end of the fight!
Schaller hitman showed his dominance in that final round.
Well hitman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
