Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between DJ Thunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timothy Wilkinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Timothy Wilkinson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunda connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Timothy Wilkinson has been cut.
Thunda uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wilkinson.
Thunda has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Beast in the buildup to the fight.
Thunda lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wilkinson staying out of range there.

Wilkinson catches Thunda with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thunda throws a right hand that misses
and Wilkinson counters with a nice body kick.
Thunda scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Thunda throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wilkinson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wilkinson throws out a counter right but Thunda avoids it with no problem.
Thunda lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Wilkinson goes down! The ref sends Thunda to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Wilkinson is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
Thunda throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thunda just misses with a punch to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wilkinson! But no joy.
Thunda attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Thunda takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Thunda takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wilkinson blocks a jab.
Wilkinson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thunda manages to avoid it.
Thunda lands a body shot.
Wilkinson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thunda.
Wilkinson only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Thunda throws a sloppy head kick
and Wilkinson counters with a nice body shot.
Wilkinson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thunda stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wilkinson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Thunda on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thunda goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Thunda looks to land a right hand but Wilkinson moved out of range.

Thunda tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wilkinson is able to avoid easily.
A nice side step and Wilkinson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Thunda pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wilkinson back to the ropes. Thunda follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
That has opened up Timothy Wilkinson's cut even more.
Thunda waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wilkinson.
Thunda fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilkinson manages to avoid it.

Wilkinson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thunda momentarily.
The fighters circling - Thunda throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wilkinson wants to land a leg kick but Thunda is out of range.
Thunda ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wilkinson's corner calls for a 1-2. Wilkinson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilkinson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thunda finds it's way round the side to connect with Wilkinson's head.
Good leg kick by Thunda there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wilkinson avoids the head kick by Thunda.
Despite the aggression on Wilkinson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Thunda dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Thunda throws a right and a left that both miss.
Thunda throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
DJ Thunda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilkinson throws a body kick that misses.

Thunda throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
DJ Thunda is winning the standup battle so far.
Thunda is looking to land body kicks.
Thunda scores with a head kick. Wilkinson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Wilkinson moves out of range of the body kick.
Wilkinson follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Thunda misses with a leg kick
and Wilkinson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wilkinson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Thunda throws a head kick that misses.
Thunda drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wilkinson cracks Thunda with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Thunda is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Thunda is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Thunda could not beat the count!

In his post fight interview, Timothy Wilkinson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
