Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pete Blowkarski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Bursese!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blowkarski has his takedown stuffed
and Bursese counters with a one-two to the body.

Bursese has taken the fight to the clinch.
Blowkarski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bursese ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bursese no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Blowkarski wants to control from the top but Bursese keeps moving.
Bursese pulls Blowkarski in to control the position.
Bursese wants to stand and escape but Blowkarski is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blowkarski wants to stand but Bursese has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Blowkarski trying to control but Bursese is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bursese has his hands on Blowkarski's head, controlling the position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Blowkarski wants to control from the top but Bursese keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Blowkarski tries a head kick but it misses.

Bursese moves into range and clinches up with Blowkarski.
Blowkarski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Blowkarski is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bursese is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Blowkarski to the mat. Blowkarski regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bursese scoring with some ground and pound.
Bursese is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bursese slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bursese advances to mount.

Blowkarski tries to improve his position but Bursese has taken his back! Bursese has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Blowkarski tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Bursese pushes Blowkarski away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jake Bursese!
