Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Judah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Kannberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kannberg has chosen Pavement: 'Date with IKEA' as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kannberg throws a lazy body kick
and Judah counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kannberg throws a lazy head kick
and Judah connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Judah lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Kannberg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Judah takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Judah swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Judah throws a body kick that misses.
Kannberg ducks under a wild hook from Judah.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kannberg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Judah counters with a head kick that drops Kannberg to the mat! Kannberg scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Judah lands a jab to Kannberg's midsection.

Good leg kick by Judah there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fighters circle momentarily. Judah darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kannberg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Judah.
Kannberg seems to have recovered his senses.
Judah scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Kannberg on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kannberg takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kannberg is breathing heavily.

Judah swings for the body but Kannberg moves out of range.
Judah moves out of range of the body kick from Kannberg.
A little feinted left hand from Judah on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Judah dips to his left and cracks Kannberg with an uppercut!
Judah fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kannberg looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Judah scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kannberg in his tracks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Judah.
Judah keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Kannberg might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Judah has got the better of the exchanges.
Judah lands with a straight right. Kannberg didn't see that one coming.

Kannberg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Judah.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Judah is looking to wear down Kannberg with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Kannberg tries to land a front kick but Judah steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Judah ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kannberg moves away.
Judah paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Judah catches Kannberg with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Judah throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
