Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cyber Bully!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Bully lands.
Bully throws a wild body kick that Smith sees coming a mile off.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bully fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith.
Smith takes a swing at Bully's ribcage but misses.
It seemed like Bully was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Smith drops his hands momentarily and Bully takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bully misses with a lunging right hand
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A bone on bone clash there as Smith blocks the leg kick.
Smith scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Smith digs a good hook to Bully's body.
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Bully lands a nice shot that snaps Smith's head back.

enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.

and Bully takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Both fighters circling a little - Bully finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Bully buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bully, as that shot connected.
Bully scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bully bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bully misses with a low kick.
No luck for Bully with that takedown attempt.

and Smith counters with an outside leg kick.
Bully walks into a stiff left hand from Smith.

Smith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bully flicks out a counter leg kick but Smith steps away.

Smith works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bully misses with a hook
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A head kick from Bully lands but Smith takes it in his stride.
Bully throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Cyber Bully seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Bully does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bully throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Smith seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Bully loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Frank Smith will probably get the nod.

Bully is looking to take this one to the mat.

Bully is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Smith is defending well for now.
Bully tries to score a body lock takedown but Smith shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Frank Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyber Bully.
Bully will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Smith up against the cage.

Smith tries to land a knee to the head but Bully blocks with his arms.

Bully misses with a low kick as Smith jumps back.
Smith walks into a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Bully misses the target.
Smith tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bully walks into a straight right hand from Smith.
Bully throws a front kick aimed at Smith's knee but Smith avoids it well.
Bully's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Smith connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bully scrambles back to his feet.

and Smith counters with a one-two to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith darts in and clinches Bully up against the cage.
Smith tries to pull guard but Bully forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Bully misses with a short punch on the inside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Bully tries to move into range but Smith moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

With the fighters up against the cage, Smith throws an elbow but misses.

Smith pulls guard effortlessly.
Smith is adopting a defensive guard.
Bully postures up.

Smith wants to stand and escape but Bully is having none of it.

Smith had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bully defends it easily.

Bully sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smith's guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Smith manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bully's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Smith looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bully is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Smith wants to control but Bully is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bully is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Cyber Bully has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bully passes to side control.

Smith is trying to control Bully's posture but Bully avoids it.

You can see the frustration on Smith's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Smith is looking for a sweep.
Frank Smith is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bully has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Smith manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Smith.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Smith, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
