Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Liam McGuiness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ugor Makinwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuiness's entrance music is The Boys are Back by Dropkick Murphys. A fine choice. Makinwa is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Beast - Tech N9ne. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makinwa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like McGuiness wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McGuiness loads up on a big right hand but Makinwa slips the punch.
Makinwa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Makinwa misses with the body kick
and Makinwa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Makinwa rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McGuiness counters with a straight right hand.
Makinwa jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McGuiness looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Makinwa throws the kick towards the body but McGuiness avoids it.

It looks like Ugor Makinwa has been cut.
McGuiness scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Makinwa to his hands and knees! The ref pushes McGuiness away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Makinwa got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

and McGuiness counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Makinwa to the mat, face first! McGuiness goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Makinwa is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Liam McGuiness really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sully's Bar & Grill logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
