Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dante Firm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Puzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puzo has chosen Speak Softly Love as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Firm tests Puzo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Puzo just misses with a punch to the body.
Puzo defending well as Firm loads up on a big left hand.
Puzo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Puzo lands with an overhand left.
Puzo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Firm circles away quickly and effectively.
Puzo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Firm shoots for a takedown but Puzo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Puzo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Puzo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Firm jabs Puzo right on the nose. Puzo blinks but takes it well.
Firm fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Puzo manages to avoid it.
Dante Firm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Puzo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Firm fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Puzo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Firm.
Puzo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Firm throws out the jab.

Puzo tries to bum rush Firm with a series of wild strikes but Firm uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Firm cracks Puzo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Puzo stuns Firm with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Puzo sizes up Firm with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Firm throws a shot from downtown. Puzo moves away and avoids it.
Firm looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Puzo is fending him off so far but Firm persists. Nope, Puzo circles away and we're back to standing.

Mario Puzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Puzo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab lands there for Firm.
Firm takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Firm is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Firm takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

A little jabbing left from Puzo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Puzo tries to score with a low kick but Firm moves his leg out of the way.
Firm swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Puzo fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Firm to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Firm looks to clinch but Puzo throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Firm taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
