Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Von Erich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Erich comes to the cage accompanied by La Grange. Skinner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slayer - Raining Blood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Erich swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Skinner.
David Von Erich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skinner looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Von Erich moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd cheers as Von Erich lands an impressive looking overhand right. Skinner doesn't seem phased though.
We've been hearing reports that Von Erich has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Skinner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Von Erich paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Von Erich appears to be looking for a big counter.
Skinner misses with a low kick.

Von Erich lands with an uppercut that bounces Skinner off the cage and back into range.
Skinner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Skinner blocks a jab.
Skinner throws a hook but Von Erich blocks it.
Von Erich throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Skinner sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Skinner lands a left and a right that send Von Erich crashing to the mat, dazed. Skinner thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Von Erich is rocked!

It looks like David Von Erich has been cut.
Skinner is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Von Erich flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Von Erich is out cold! Skinner holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
