Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Twister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solongo Umtiti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Umtiti has chosen Three 6 Mafia - Some Bodies Gonna Get It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Twister.
Twister pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Twister throws a sloppy head kick and Umtiti moves out of range easily.
Umtiti drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Twister defends it well.
A punch lands to the side of Umtiti 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Umtiti rushes Twister and presses him up against the cage.
Twister lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Umtiti backwards.

Twister has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Umtiti uses from the top position.
Twister is trying to control the position but Umtiti postures up.
Twister wants to sweep but no luck.
Umtiti postures up and lands a big shot to Twister's brow.

Twister has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Umtiti can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Twister working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Umtiti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Umtiti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Twister is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Umtiti defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Umtiti slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Twister might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Umtiti looks up at the clock and then as Twister takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Umtiti smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Twister looks to move to half guard but instead Umtiti has passed into mount! Damn!
Twister takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Umtiti lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Twister! Umtiti sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Twister and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Solongo Umtiti! Solongo Umtiti retains his super heavyweight title!
Solongo Umtiti decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
