The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vinson throws a sloppy head kick and Niaz moves out of range easily.
Niaz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Vinson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Vinson has closed the distance and engaged Niaz in a clinch.

Niaz is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Vinson is defending well for now.
Vinson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Niaz is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Vinson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Niazs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Vinson pushes Niaz against the cage. Vinson is working some dirty boxing. Vinson pushes off with a quick right hook! Niaz goes down! Niaz tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Vinson moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
