These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks moves in looking to clinch but Tramashama pushes him off.

Tramashama drives through with a takedown into Hicks's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Hicks looking for a guillotine here but Tramashama defends easily.

Tramashama thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tramashama is in close to Hicks's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hicks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tramashama on the ground.
Tramashama slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Hicks is looking for a triangle here but Tramashama uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

and Tramashama counters with a crisp one two that drops Hicks! Tramashama thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hicks to his feet! Hicks is in big trouble!

Hicks is rocked!

Tramashama shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Tramashama slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Tramashama lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
