Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Allan Hale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Wiggins!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hale needs to keep his hands up - Wiggins had a free shot at his head there.
Wiggins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wiggins wants it to stay on the feet.
Hale fails to land the takedown.

Hale manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wiggins on his heels. He'll look to pass Wiggins's guard now, I'm sure.
Wiggins wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hale is now in half guard.
Hale prevents Wiggins from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hale looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Hale pushes Wiggins back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Hale has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wiggins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Wiggins is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Hale off. It looks like it's working - Hale slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Wiggins displaying calm under pressure there.
Wiggins tries to clinch but Hale is having none of it.
Hale tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hale circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Hale holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Wiggins wants to break free but Hale has control.

Wiggins misses with a punch to the body.

Hale lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wiggins avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hale.

Hale is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wiggins defends it well.
Hale thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wiggins's head.
Wiggins is looking for a sweep. Hale is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

and Hale counters by moving into the clinch.
Hale is pressed up against the cage. Wiggins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hale down to the mat. Hale avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Wiggins tries to clinch but Hale is having none of it.
Hale wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Hale lands a nice looking body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wiggins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Hale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wiggins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Hale counters with a shoot takedown. Wiggins fights it but they end up in guard.

Wiggins pushes Hale off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wiggins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hale manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A left and a right from Wiggins both land. Nice combination.

Wiggins is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hale is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wiggins to the mat. Wiggins regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Wiggins shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hale eats them both and turns towards Wiggins to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hale clinches up with Wiggins and pushes him back against the cage.
Hale has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wiggins avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hale has Wiggins pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wiggins manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Wiggins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hale smiles and moves away.
Wiggins throws a right hand that Hale ducks under and follows up with a left that Hale also avoids with ease.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hale has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wiggins regains guard immediately.

Hale has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Hale has control of Wiggins's left arm, preventing Wiggins from doing any damage.
Wiggins wants to get up but he can't break Hale's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
