Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Minoru Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lin Shui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakano kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Great Muta Concerto. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minoru Nakano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lin Shui!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shui tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nakano paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shui slips a straight right by Nakano.
Nakano misses the shot to the body.
Shui gets tackled into the cage by Nakano. Nakano maintains the clinch.
Nakano working aggressively here.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Shui.
Nakano tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Shui goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nakano prevents it.
Shui is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nakano can't fight it off and eventually Shui manages to take the fight to the floor. Nakano looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Shui trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nakano wants to sweep here but Shui controlling him for the moment.
Nakano has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Shui has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shui throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Shui controlling the position from side mount.
Shui is looking to take a break and control but Nakano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nakano is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Shui has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Nakano!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nakano wants to control but Shui is having none of it.
Nakano regains half guard.
Shui sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nakano defending well though.
Nakano is pressing down on Shui's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Nakano wants to hit a switch here but Shui passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nakano there!
Shui cracks Nakano with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nakano throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Shui scoring with strikes but Nakano is staying in there.
Nakano has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Shui's lack of action.
Nakano avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Shui.
Shui prevents Nakano from improving his position.
Shui throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Shui wants to free his trapped foot but Nakano is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nakano has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Shui is working away from the top position though.
Shui is trying to control. Nakano wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Nakano is not content to let Shui control the position.
Shui stalling.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Shui seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nakano does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lin Shui dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nakano looks to land a right hand but Shui moved out of range.
Nakano misses with a hook. Shui ducked under it nicely.
Shui lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Shui tries for a takedown but Nakano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nakano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shui swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nakano darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nakano drops Shui with a beautiful combination! Shui stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nakano is looking for the KO!
It looks like Lin Shui has been cut.
Nakano misses with a left hand
and Shui counters with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shui ducks under a wild hook from Nakano.
Shui walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Shui is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Nakano engages and cracks Shui with a massive lead left hook - Shui tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Nakano is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Minoru Nakano!
Minoru Nakano seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Lin Shui was interviewed post fight and said 'No worries. Everyone knows my opponent here has a very bad habit of testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs, so I'm confident this fight will soon be ruled a 'No-Contest.''.
