PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rafal Jackiewicz (ranked 3413 p4p, 182 weight class) and Jarni Kutsoo (ranked 3120 p4p, 163 weight class). Kutsoo has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Kutsoo with that takedown attempt.
Jackiewicz jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kutsoo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kutsoo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kutsoo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackiewicz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackiewicz digs a good body shot into Kutsoo's ribs.
Kutsoo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackiewicz sprawls well. Jackiewicz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kutsoo gets slowly back to his feet.
Rafal Jackiewicz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarni Kutsoo.
Kutsoo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kutsoo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jackiewicz to the mat! Jackiewicz manages to get full guard.

Kutsoo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kutsoo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kutsoo won't allow Jackiewicz to get back to his feet.

Jackiewicz gets to his feet. Kutsoo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jackiewicz tries to score with a low kick but Kutsoo moves his leg out of the way.
Jackiewicz misses with an uppercut.
Kutsoo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackiewicz but Jackiewicz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jackiewicz cracks Kutsoo with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kutsoo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Jackiewicz slaps away a takedown attempt from Kutsoo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jackiewicz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Jackiewicz cracks Kutsoo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jackiewicz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jackiewicz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Kutsoo shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackiewicz tries to sprawl out of it but Kutsoo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackiewicz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Jackiewicz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jackiewicz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kutsoo is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackiewicz finish him?
Jackiewicz lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Kutsoo can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Jackiewicz and Kutsoo drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Jackiewicz.
