Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sugar Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Mikhailov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sugar Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexei Mikhailov!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee has closed the distance and engaged Mikhailov in a clinch.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mikhailov, pushing him back against the cage.
Lee has a couple of punches blocked by Mikhailov.
Lee lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Lee lands a left hand.
A short right from Lee on the inside.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mikhailov lands a jab to Lee's midsection.

Lee closes the distance and clinches.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mikhailov swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Lee wants to clinch up but Mikhailov keeps it at a distance.

Lee moves into range and clinches up with Mikhailov.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mikhailov backwards.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Lee throws a head punch that misses.
Still in the clinch, Lee scores with a nice short uppercut.

Mikhailov takes a shot to the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mikhailov.
Mikhailov is trying to force a seperation but Lee has the dominant position.
Mikhailov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mikhailov goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mikhailov throws a good cross that connects.
Sugar Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mikhailov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Lee drives through and clinches with Mikhailov against the cage.
Lee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Lee fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mikhailov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lee prevents it.
Sugar Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexei Mikhailov.

Mikhailov wants the takedown. Lee is fighting it off but Mikhailov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lee's guard against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mikhailov wants to take Lee's back here but Lee is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Mikhailov is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Lee is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Lee flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mikhailov anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Lee and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mikhailov slips an arm under Lee chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mikhailov has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mikhailov is squeezing on Lee like an anaconda would it's prey. Lee fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
