PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robyn Burger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hammond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammond has chosen Afterlife as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Robyn Burger looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammond steps into range and cracks Burger with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Burger flops backwards and Hammond dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Robyn Burger has been cut.
Burger looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hammond is controlling him.
Hammond wants to stand but Burger is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hammond gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hammond avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hammond is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Burger flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Burger is out cold! Hammond holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
