PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rauli Raunio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pete has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete just misses with a punch to the body.

Pete walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Raunio misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A lazy left from Raunio finds it's target.
Raunio is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Raunio shoots in but Pete avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Raunio and Pete goes tumbling to the canvas! Raunio follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Pete takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pete stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Raunio.

Pete ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raunio moves away.
Raunio connects with a crisp jab.
Raunio steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Pete is out on his feet! Raunio sets himself and nearly takes Pete's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

In his post fight interview, Rauli Raunio started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
