Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Conner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bugaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conner comes to the cage accompanied by The Man Who Sold The World. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conner looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bugaev lands a nice leg kick that just misses Conner's sensitive parts.
Bugaev displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Bugaev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Conner.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bugaev! But no joy.
Conner throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bugaev.
Bugaev connects with a crisp jab.
Conner misses with a wild body shot.
It seemed like Bugaev was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bugaev throws a big shot that misses.
Conner attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Conner misses with a straight right.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Conner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bugaev has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bugaev and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Conner takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Conner uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bugaev.
Conner catches Bugaev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

A quick step to the side and Conner tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bugaev lands a nice looking body shot.
Conner chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bugaev can pounce on him.
Bugaev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Conner avoids it really well and circles away.
Wayne Conner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bugaev throws a head kick that misses.
Conner throws an overhand right that lands on Bugaev's shoulder, as Bugaev tries to avoid the shot.
Bugaev drops his hands momentarily and Conner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Conner connects with a leg kick. Bugaev looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bugaev scores with a decent looking hook.
Conner with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bugaev takes one on the button.

Conner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bugaev was well out of range. Poor timing from Conner.

Conner clobbers Bugaev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bugaev moves out of range of the leg kick from Conner.
Bugaev wants to counter the offense by Conner and move into the clinch position.
Bugaev doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Bugaev misses the target.
Conner blocks a low kick nicely.
Conner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bugaev moves away.
Bugaev misses the shot to the body.
As Bugaev backs away, Conner returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Conner throws a hook but Bugaev blocks it.
Conner scores with a decent looking hook.
A nice combination there by Bugaev.
Bugaev wants to land a leg kick but Conner is out of range.
Bugaev lands a front kick.
Conner misses with a series of wild punches.
Conner moves away from the strike by Bugaev.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bugaev. Conner shrugs it off though.
Conner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bugaev comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bugaev lands with a slapping head kick.
Conner misses with a leg kick.
Conner throws the left hand but Bugaev avoids the punch easily.
Conner scores with a head kick. Bugaev tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Bugaev lands a nice hook to Conner's body. Conner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Conner ducks right into an uppercut from Bugaev.
Conner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bugaevs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Conner misses with a looping right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bugaev works Conner's body with a nice hook.
Conner is breathing heavily.
Bugaev slips a jab from Conner.
Bugaev misses with an uppercut. Conner saw that one coming.
Conner thinks about countering with a body kick.
Bugaev changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Bugaev works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bugaev connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Conner tumbling to the canvas! Bugaev pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Conner was done - good stoppage!
