Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Celso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celso has chosen Bad Boys by The Inner Circle as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Celso!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Celso fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lock to the ground. Celso is now in Lock's guard.
Lock looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Lock is adopting a defensive guard.

Celso gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Horrible takedown attempt by Celso or perhaps it was just good defense by Lock, which made it look bad.

Lock tries to keep at a distance but Celso has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Celso has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lock throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Celso shoots in for a takedown but Lock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ryan Lock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Celso lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Celso feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Celso drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Celso jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Celso is pushing down on Lock's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lock is fighting to maintain full guard but Celso has managed to sneak the leg through.
Celso wants to free his trapped foot but Lock is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lock avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Celso.
Celso seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Celso not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A combination from Celso does no damage.

Celso smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Celso shoots in for a double leg but Lock sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ryan Lock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Celso.

Celso tries a head kick but it misses.
Celso changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lock tries to avoid it but Celso manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lock to the ground. Lock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Celso, pushing him back against the cage.

Celso's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Celso takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Celso fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Celso is looking to take this one to the mat.
Lock is trying to push Celso away but Celso has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Celso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lock displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Lock looks to land a combination but Celso avoids it well.
No luck for Celso with that takedown attempt.

Lock tries to sprawl but Celso drives through with a takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Celso counters with a series of strikes. Lock will be more careful next time no doubt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Celso slows the pace down in half guard.
Celso seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lock wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Celso in particular looking to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A slapping leg kick lands for Celso.
Lock leaves Celso with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Celso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lock as he avoids it easily.

and Celso counters by clinching up.
Celso lands an uppercut.
Lock prevents a takedown attempt there.
Celso throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Locks head.

Celso tries for a takedown but Lock manages to get underhooks.
Celso stalls.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Celso receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Celso fails to pull guard.
Celso has Lock pressed against the cage, preventing Lock from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee calls for Celso to work.
Ryan Lock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lock gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Celso.

And that's the end of the fight!
Anthony Celso comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Celso has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
