Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Russian Obama (ranked 30 p4p, 5 weight class) and Matt Quin (ranked 25 p4p, 3 weight class). Obama comes to the cage accompanied by 5 minutes Alone. The crowd seem to be enjoying Quin's choice of entrance music: Captain Jack - Iko Iko. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Quin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Quin throws a lazy right hand but Obama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Obama lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Quin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Quin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Russian Obama.
I think Quin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
