The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butorin lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Moracchioli looks to land a combination but Butorin avoids it well.
Butorin looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Moracchioli is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Butorin's half guard.
Moracchioli looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Butorin is trying to stand.
Butorin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Well, if Moracchioli is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Butorin is trying to maintain the position but Moracchioli is very close to passing his half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Butorin is trying to stand up here but Moracchioli is controlling him well.
Moracchioli winds up and cracks Butorin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Alex Butorin has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moracchioli looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Butorin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
