Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quid shoots for a takedown but Drake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Drake fails in his attempt to clinch.

Drake drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Quid is not content to let Drake control the position.
Quid is trying to improve his position.
Quid on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Quid tries to get out of the position.
Drake lands an elbow.
Drake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Quid keeps working.

Drake is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Quid knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Quid really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Drake creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Quid misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Quid tries to buck Drake off but Drake is having none of it.

Drake tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Drake has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quid throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Drake in side control lands a decent elbow.
Quid struggling a bit here.

Drake is working to tighten is grip on Quid's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Quid has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Drake is really squeezing tight and eventually Quid passes out! Drake breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
