Firpo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

A jab-cross combination lands for Firpo and sends Ismagilov crashing to the mat! Firpo follows him down to the mat - Ismagilov regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Ismagilov is rocked!

It looks like Irek Ismagilov has been cut.
Firpo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ismagilov!
Ismagilov is still in real trouble! Can Firpo finish him?

Firpo stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Ismagilov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Firpo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ismagilov scrambles back to his feet.
Ismagilov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Firpo has time to react.
