Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Comanche Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Flux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dante Flux has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 42 - 38 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Comanche Todd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dante Flux!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd avoids the body shot from Flux.
Todd defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Flux.
Some wild striking there from Todd.
Todd scores with a nice right hand.
Todd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Flux stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Todd's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Todd duly obliges.
Todd just misses with a punch to the body.
Todd scores with a hook to the body. Flux takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Flux takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Todd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flux moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Todd jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Flux feints the counter takedown.
Todd lands a right hook to the body.
Todd digs a good body shot into Flux's ribs.
Flux avoids the body shot from Todd.
Todd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Flux was well out of range. Poor timing from Todd.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Flux has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Flux lands with a good body shot.
Todd ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

A looping hook to the body misses from Todd. Flux does a little dance to reset his feet.
Todd swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Flux counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Todd tries to improve position but can't.
Todd takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Todd is looking for a sweep.

Flux tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Flux has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Flux postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Todd tries to bench press Flux off him but Flux keeps the position.
Todd is working hard here to advance position.

Todd is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Flux off and has taken his back!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flux can't escape the position.
Flux is still trying to improve position.
Todd gets his hands free as Flux looks to control.
Todd scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Even with his hooks in, Todd manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Todd throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Flux!
Todd punishes Flux with strikes from the back mount.
Todd misses with a punch to the head.
Todd punches Flux on the ear.
Flux breaks Todd's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Todd has his foot on Flux's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Flux works his way back into a safe position though.
Flux wants to control from the top but Todd keeps moving.
Flux slips nicely into half guard.

Todd won't allow Flux to pass to mount.
Flux looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Todd is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Flux pulls his head out easily.
Flux is trying to control the action in half guard but Todd is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Flux works his way into full mount!
Todd slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Todd looking for subs from the bottom but Flux mounts him!

Flux scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Todd?
Todd sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Todd looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Flux pushes past his half guard into mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
