Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Angelov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Frank Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lopez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Lopez lands a lovely overhand right.
Angelov throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lopez.
Angelov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Angelov plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!


It looks like Frank Lopez has been cut.
Angelov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lopez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lopez throws out a counter right but Angelov avoids it with no problem.
Lopez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lopez loads up on a big right hand but Angelov slips the punch.
Angelov appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Lopez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Angelov's head backwards.

Peter Angelov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peter Angelov.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Angelov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
