Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gott throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Malone I I I counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Malone I I I manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gott tries to close the distance and clinch but Malone I I I swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Malone I I I shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gott napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Malone I I I just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Gott rolls, trying to escape but Malone I I I keeps control of the position.

Malone I I I is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gott defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

What can Gott do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Malone I I I lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Malone I I I.
Gott trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Malone I I I lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Malone I I I is riding his opponent, not letting Gott buck him off.
Malone I I I throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Gott!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gott can't escape the position.

Malone I I I looking for the choke but no joy.

Gott defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Malone I I I's arms.
Malone I I I is hanging on to Gott's back as he tries to escape.
Gott wants to control his opponent's hands but Malone I I I gets his hands free.

Malone I I I keeps control of the position easily here as Gott tries to buck him off.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Gott tries to clinch up.
Malone I I I throws a head kick but Gott moves out of range.

Malone I I I rushes Gott and presses him up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gott misses the jab.
Gott is looking to clinch but Malone I I I is avoiding it.

Gott has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Malone I I I has passed into side control.

Zoey Malone I I I has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gott wants to control but Malone I I I postures up.
Gott seems a little lost for a moment, as Malone I I I dominates the positioning.
Gott dodges the ground and pound from Malone I I I.
Gott gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

The referee warns Gott that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Malone I I I is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gott has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Gott has hold of Malone I I I's leg, trying to break free but it's let Malone I I I lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Gott is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Malone I I I throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
