Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cole Gentry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Skytte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erik Skytte will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skytte swinging wildly here.
Gentry looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Skytte bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Gentry sneaks out the side door and pushes Skytte away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Skytte moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gentry shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gentry showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gentry lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Gentry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Skytte doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gentry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gentry is trying for a kimura here. Skytte looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gentry wins by kimura!
