Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauro Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herman Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomes comes to the ring accompanied by Buraka Som Sistema - Sound Of Kuduro. Holmes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Killing Me Softly. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes misses with a wild body shot.
Gomes lands with a kick to the temple. Holmes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Herman Holmes has been cut.
Gomes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holmes circles away quickly and effectively.
Holmes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gomes.
Holmes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gomes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Holmes as he avoids it easily.
Holmes drops Gomes with a right and a left! Holmes comes rushing in but Gomes regains his composure and manages to keep Holmes in guard.
It looks like Mauro Gomes has been cut.
Gomes is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gomes has a closed guard, preventing Holmes from standing up.
Holmes's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Gomes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Holmes is controlling him.
Gomes controls Holmes momentarily but Holmes frees himself.

Gomes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gomes doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Holmes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Holmes catches Gomes with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Holmes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gomes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gomes waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Holmes.
Holmes with a nice cross.
Holmes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gomes swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gomes slips under a jab from Holmes.
Gomes misses with a straight left.
Holmes throws a leg kick but Gomes sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Holmes drops Gomes with a huge uppercut! Gomes drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Holmes is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Herman Holmes!
