Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manuel La Bor (ranked 1992 p4p, 223 weight class) and Rich Junior (ranked 2126 p4p, 232 weight class). La Bor comes into the arena with Centuries blaring out of the sound system. Rich Junior struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and La Bor counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Junior tries to clinch up.
Rich Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
La Bor connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Junior shoots and misses
and La Bor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Junior has his takedown stuffed
and La Bor counters with a straight right hand.
Manuel La Bor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rich Junior.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Junior tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but La Bor paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Junior takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fight stays on the outside here - Junior looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
La Bor is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Junior.
Junior darts in looking for a takedown but La Bor gets double underhooks and turns Junior into the cage.
Junior tries to clinch there but La Bor circles away.

Junior is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've been told by La Bor's head coaches at Scotty's Yard that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
La Bor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Junior has time to react.

Junior is rocked!
La Bor ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Junior's jaw. Junior's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! La Bor does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

After winning the bout, Manuel La Bor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
