The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos Jr dives in and grabs Man's left leg, looking for a takedown. Man pushes down on Santos Jr's head and hops out.

Santos Jr drives through and clinches with Man against the cage.
Man tries a body shot but Santos Jr blocks it.

Man's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Man counters with a low kick, right behind Santos Jr 's knee.
Man moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Santos Jr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Man has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Santos Jr has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Man tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Man is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Santos Jr is defending well for now.
Man lands a nice elbow.
Santos Jr wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Man has him pressed against the cage.

Man pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Santos Jr in particular looking to stall.

Santos Jr has hold of Man's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Man manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Man tries to buck Santos Jr off so he can stand up but Santos Jr has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Man falls backwards, slamming Santos Jr to the mat but Santos Jr holds on tight! Man is forced to tap and this one is all over!
