The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norstaad moves in looking to clinch but Overmars pushes him off.

Norstaad bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Overmars gets back to half guard.
Norstaad seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Overmars does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Norstaad winds up and cracks Overmars with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Overmars holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

That was a close second round but I would say that Charles Overmars will probably get the nod.

Overmars's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Norstaad is looking to stall here but Overmars recovers full guard.

Norstaad looking to sit in guard and control but Overmars gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Overmars seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Charles Overmars overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Norstaad is trying to escape back to his feet but Overmars uses the scramble to pass into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jan Norstaad.
I think Norstaad has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
