Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zhen Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva misses with a takedown attempt - Long sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No joy there for Long, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Long tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Long manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Long, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
