Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Etienne Lazarvic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Evan Cole was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lazarvic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cole being controlled against the cage.
Lazarvic blocks an uppercut.
Lazarvic tries to pull guard but Cole forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Cole misses with a hook from the clinch.
Lazarvic lands a hook that snaps the head of Cole backwards.
Lazarvic stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Lazarvic wants a takedown but no success here.
Lazarvic goes for a takedown attempt but Cole pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Etienne Lazarvic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cole throws a good cross that connects.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lazarvic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cole's waist but Cole gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lazarvic off to one side.
Cole throws a jab when Lazarvic was well out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Cole as Lazarvic shoots in.
Lazarvic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cole doesn't seem bothered though.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cole.
Lazarvic wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cole goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cole pushes Lazarvic back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lazarvic can't break the clinch.
Lazarvic tries to pull guard but Cole holds him up against the cage and eventually Lazarvic drops back down to his feet.
Cole tries to break the clinch but Lazarvic is controlling the position.
Cole misses with some punches.
Cole prevents Lazarvic from breaking the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Cole misses with a punch on the inside.
Cole lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Lazarvic.
A head punch on the inside from Cole fails to land.

Lazarvic jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cole walks away with a smile on his face. Lazarvic gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lazarvic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cole is fending him off so far but Lazarvic persists. Nope, Cole circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cole looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lazarvic throws a quick counter kick to the body but Cole avoids it.
Lazarvic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cole sprawls well. Cole wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lazarvic gets slowly back to his feet.
Cole wants to clinch up but Lazarvic keeps it at a distance.
Lazarvic moves out of range of the strikes.
Cole misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lazarvic.
Cole thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lazarvic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cole doesn't manage to clinch there - Lazarvic circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nice takedown defense from Cole. No joy for Lazarvic on that attempt.
Cole lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lazarvic moves away from the strike by Cole.
Evan Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lazarvic takes one to the chin there.

Lazarvic is rocked!
Lazarvic walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Cole swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
