Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lukas Bakker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeru Kubota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kubota has chosen Halcali - Style Style as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kubota feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bakker's calf.
Bakker swings widly with a right hand
and Kubota counters with a body kick that stops Bakker in his tracks momentarily.
Bakker swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Bakker misses with an uppercut
and Kubota connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bakker throws a good cross that connects.
Bakker uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Bakker might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takeru Kubota showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
