Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Volchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Striking Sparbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Volchenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Roar of the Lion. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volchenko shoots in but no luck this time.
Volchenko has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sparbot lands with a kick to the temple. Volchenko shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Sparbot will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Volchenko has his takedown stuffed
and Sparbot counters with a nice body shot.
Sparbot tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Volchenko defends well and Sparbot ends up having to push Volchenko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Sparbot lands a leg kick that knocks Volchenko off balance momentarily.
Sparbot lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Volchenko backs up against the cage.
Sparbot fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ivan Volchenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Striking Sparbot.
Volchenko throws a combination. Sparbot tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Striking Sparbot has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck for Sparbot with that takedown attempt.
Volchenko tries to counter with a takedown but Sparbot is quick to defend against it.
Volchenko is looking to clinch.

Sparbot lands a big head kick that sends Volchenko tumbling to the mat! Sparbot takes a step backwards and waves Volchenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
