Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rich Jasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Winning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rich Jasper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caleb Winning!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasper fails to land the takedown.

Jasper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Winning is not content to let Jasper control the position.

Jasper looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Winning is looking for a sweep.
Winning is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jasper trying to control the position but Winning is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jasper tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jasper perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Winning can do anything to dispel that myth.
Jasper is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Winning slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jasper won't allow Winning to sweep him here.

Winning had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jasper is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Winning Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jasper's back instead.

Winning working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Winning has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jasper has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Jasper has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Winning is looking for a rear naked choke here but Jasper reverses the position brilliantly into Winning's guard!

Winning has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jasper can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jasper is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Winning shoots and misses

so Jasper counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jasper is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Winning looking for a guillotine here but Jasper defends easily.

Jasper wants to control from the top but Winning keeps moving.
Jasper wants to get up but he can't break Winning's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Winning is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jasper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Winning is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Jasper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jasper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rich Jasper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
