The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lau stuffs the takedown attempt from Mikalika. Mikalika gets slowly back to his feet.
Mikalika steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lau.
Mikalika throws a right hand that Lau ducks under and follows up with a left that Lau also avoids with ease.
Mikalika throws a series of punches but Lau avoids them all with ease.
Lau looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mikalika tries to bum rush Lau with a series of wild strikes but Lau uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mikalika closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lau circles away.

Lau rushes Mikalika with punches - Mikalika moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Mikalika goes down! Lau follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
