Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Willian Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Goliath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willian Raymond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Goliath!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Raymond 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Willian Raymond has been cut.
Raymond checks the leg kick nicely there.
Raymond is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Raymond gets a double leg takedown into Goliath's guard.
Goliath is wriggling around but Raymond manages to pass to half guard.

Raymond prevents Goliath from improving his position.

Raymond is trying to work for a kimura but Goliath is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raymond stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raymond looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Goliath with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goliath is looking for a sweep. Raymond is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Goliath is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Raymond really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Raymond is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Goliath defends it well.
Goliath trying to control but Raymond postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Raymond wants to stand but Goliath has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Raymond is trying to work for a kimura but Goliath is defending well.

Raymond is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Goliath is just riding it out for now. Raymond eventually gives up the hold.
Goliath throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Goliath tries to roll over but Raymond keeps him under control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Raymond tries to sprawl but Goliath drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Raymond is concentrating on defense, preventing Goliath from advancing position.
Raymond is looking for a sweep. Goliath is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Raymond is pressing down on Goliath's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Goliath trying to control the position from guard on top but Raymond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Raymond looking to hit a scissor sweep but Goliath is one step ahead there.
Goliath wants to control from the top but Raymond keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Raymond is on top in guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Goliath is trying to hold Raymond in close to prevent damage but Raymond has managed to pass into half guard.
Raymond tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Goliath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Willian Raymond dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Willian Raymond's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Raymond gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goliath is fighting to break Raymond's control of his arms but Raymond is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Raymond wants to sweep but no luck.
Goliath trying to control the position from guard on top but Raymond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Goliath stopping the sweep attempt from Raymond.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goliath is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Goliath chips away with some ground and pound.
Goliath trying to control but Raymond is working from the bottom.
Goliath lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goliath passes Raymond's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Goliath wants to control but Raymond is keeping him busy.

Raymond is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Goliath has latched onto it... Big trouble! Goliath pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Raymond is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Goliath!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). David Goliath!
