The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pletees stuns Cohen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pletees lands a head kick!

It looks like Everett Cohen has been cut.

Cohen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pletees!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pletees tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Cohen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cohen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cohen is working to tighten his grip on Pletees's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pletees has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cohen is really squeezing tight and eventually Pletees passes out! Cohen breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
