Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Ring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 47 - 36 - 2, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ring tries to clinch up but Poulter circles away and keeps his distance.
Poulter lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Poulter throws a leg kick but Ring sees it coming and moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ring, as that shot connected.
A head kick misses from Ring.
Poulter looks for the body kick but Ring saw that one coming.
Poulter avoids the head kick by Ring.
Poulter counters with a body kick.
Ring misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Poulter.
Ring throws a head kick that misses.
Poulter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Poulter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ring throws a head kick that Poulter semi-blocks.
Ring jabs Poulter right on the nose. Poulter blinks but takes it well.
Poulter cracks Ring with a right hand to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Poulter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ring.
Ring drops his hands momentarily and Poulter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Poulter thows a left - swing and a miss!
Poulter jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Poulter getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Poulter uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ring has time to react.
Ring bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ring scores with a head kick.
Ring is looking to land body kicks.
Ring lands a leg kick that knocks Poulter off balance momentarily.
Poulter has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ring.
Ring throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ring misses with a body kick.
Ring throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Poulter.
Ring throws a front kick that sends Poulter stumbling back into the cage.
Poulter connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Poulter misses the shot to the body.
Ring appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ring fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ring tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poulter was well out of range. Poor timing from Ring.
Poulter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Poulter catches Ring with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Poulter has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ring throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Poulter.
Poulter misses with a wild body shot.
Poulter looks to land a right hand but Ring moved out of range.
Poulter throws a head kick but Ring moves out of range.
Ring dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ring is looking to clinch but Poulter is avoiding it.
Poulter avoids the head kick by Ring.
Poulter swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ring pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Poulter tries to bum rush Ring with a series of wild strikes but Ring uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ring tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Poulter counters with a body kick.
Poulter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ring was well out of range. Poor timing from Poulter.
Ring chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Ring misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Poulter thows a leg kick but Ring checks it

and Ring counters with a head kick that drops Poulter to the mat! Poulter scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!


Poulter is rocked!
Ring feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Poulter collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jeremy Ring!
During a confident post fight interview, Jeremy Ring thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
