Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Verama (ranked 93 p4p, 15 weight class) and Jacks Sole (ranked 89 p4p, 13 weight class). Verama comes to the cage accompanied by Swing It Away. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verama takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A solid body kick from Verama.
Verama blocks a head kick by Sole.
Sole throws a lazy right hand but Verama sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Verama was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sole.
Sole throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Verama has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Wild Beasts Zoo in the buildup to the fight.
Sole keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sole swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Verama throws a leg kick
and Sole counters with a stiff right hand.
Verama fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sole checks it well.
Nice defenses there by Verama.

Verama avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It appears Verama was looking to counter with a kick there.
Sole throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Verama counters with a nice uppercut.
Sole has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Verama takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sole crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Verama - the referee stops the clock and Sole gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Verama. Sole manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Verama thows a body kick. Sole tries to catch it but that hurt him.

A little feinted left hand from Verama on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Verama throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sole's head.

Sole does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sole tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Verama was well out of range. Poor timing from Sole.
Verama scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Verama tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sole swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sole misses with a kick to the body.
Sole throws a lazy head kick
and Verama counters with a low kick, right behind Sole 's knee.
Sole sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sole takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Verama is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Verama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Verama avoids a kick to the body.
Verama lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Verama misses with a body shot.
Verama throws a nice inside leg kick.
Verama connects with a solid leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Verama.
Verama connects with a body shot that sends Sole's belly button to the back.

Sole tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nice straight punches there by Verama. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Verama.
Sole throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Verama appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sole misses with a right hand
and Verama counters with a slapping leg kick.
Verama walks into a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Verama throws a hook but Sole avoids it easily.
And Sole responds with a good body kick, but Verama manages to step out the way in time.
Verama lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Verama throws a good cross that connects.
Sole scores with a nice head shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

enabling Verama to counter with a crisp jab.
Verama throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Verama misses with a low kick.
Verama gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sole has a couple of punches blocked by Verama.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Verama tries a body shot but Sole blocks it.
Verama has Sole pushed against the cage.
Sole manages to break the clinch.
Verama gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sole walks into a stiff left hand from Verama.

Verama darts in and clinches Sole up against the cage.

Verama prevents a body shot from Sole.
Verama doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Verama is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sole can do to turn this around?

Sole digs a right hand into Verama's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Verama's gas tank.

Sole breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Verama works Sole's body with a nice hook.
Sole lands a big head kick that sends Verama to the canvas! Sole follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacks Sole!
A relieved looking Jacks Sole thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
