Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kraig Livingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Slice!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Slice with a jab.
Slice feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Livingstons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Slice swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Livingston shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slice as he jumps to the side.
Livingston tries for a takedown but Slice circles away easily
and Slice counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Livingston tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Slice defends well and Livingston ends up having to push Slice into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And Slice tries to counter it with a takedown but Livingston pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kraig Livingston. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Livingston looks for a takedown but Slice sprawls well.
Slice scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Livingston dives in and grabs Slice's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slice pushes down on Livingston's head and hops out.

Livingston takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Slice scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Slice listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Slice darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Slice keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Slice jabs Livingston right on the nose. Livingston blinks but takes it well.
Slice lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Livingston decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Slice has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Livingston is on him like a limpet, forcing Slice back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Livingston has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Livingston tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Slice just stands there and leans against the cage.
Slice has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Livingston is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Slice to keep the fight standing.

Livingston jumps guard.

Slice gets to his feet. Livingston looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Slice misses with a low kick as Livingston jumps back.
Slice uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Slice fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Livingston is out of range.
Livingston takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action!


Slice scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Livingston takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rick Slice seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Slice connects with a looping right hand.
Slice connects with a good right hand that stumbles Livingston. Livingston circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Livingston throws a poor cross that misses
and Slice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Slice scores with a nice right hand.

Slice digs a good body shot into Livingston's ribs.
Slice scores with a three punch combo!

Livingston fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Slice steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Livingston.

Livingston blocks a head kick by Slice.
A shot to the liver by Slice. Beautiful body shot.
Livingston shoots in for a double leg but Slice sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A little jabbing left from Slice on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kraig Livingston. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slice lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


Kraig Livingston's cut is getting worse.
Livingston with a lazy takedown attempt
and Slice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Livingston shoots in for a takedown but Slice shows good takedown defense.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Horrible takedown attempt by Livingston or perhaps it was just good defense by Slice, which made it look bad.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Slice sizes up Livingston with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Slice scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Slice moves into range and connects with a jab.
Slice leaves Livingston with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Livingston gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rick Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


A jab lands there for Slice.
Kraig Livingston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Slice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Livingston circles away quickly and effectively.
Slice bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Livingston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Livingston.

Slice misses with a two punch combination.
Slice lands a right hook to the body.
Slice works Livingston's body with a nice hook.
Slice tests Livingston's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Slice feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Livingstons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Livingston misses with a takedown attempt - Slice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Slice wants to counter the offense by Livingston and move into the clinch position.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kraig Livingston. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slice tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Livingston is able to avoid easily.
Livingston seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Livingston looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Slice scores with a one two! Livingston had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Slice tried to score with a low kick but Livingston checks it.
Slice cracks Livingston with an open hand slap.
Slice scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Slice lands an overhand right.
Livingston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slice swivels and escapes.

and Slice counters with a straight that turns Livingston's legs to rubber! Slice pushes forward with more strikes and Livingston goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
