The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Federline ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Marley throws out a leg kick but Federline moves out of range and Marley only half commits.
Kevin Federline seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marley slips under a jab from Federline.

Marley rushes Federline and presses him up against the cage.
Marley lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Marley struggles to land a body shot inside as Federline controls his hands.
Marley goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Federline escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Federline pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Marley throws out a counter right but Federline avoids it with no problem.
Marley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Marley takes one on the button.
Federline scores with a jab. Marley acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Marley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Federline.

Marley moves into the clinch successfully.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marley lands a nice uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from Marley fails to land.
Marley lands a body punch.
Marley can't find room to land a body shot as Federline controls the action.
Federline can't break the clinch.

Federline blocking some punches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Marley.
Marley lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Marley pressing his opponent against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Federline.
Marley swings wildly with an uppercut but Federline uses good head movement to avoid it.
Marley throws a head punch that misses.
Marley fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Marley - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Marley has Federline pressed against the cage, preventing Federline from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Marley with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Federline to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Federline throws a hook but Marley avoids it easily.

Federline pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Federline was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Marley tries to move into range but Federline moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Marley on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Marley moves out of range as Federline strikes.
Federline connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Marley's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Federline connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marley scrambles back to his feet.
