Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Billy Roxo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryuu Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Takeshi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Roxo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roxo lands in his opponent's guard.
Takeshi trying to keep a closed guard but Roxo is proving a slippery customer.
Takeshi keeping moving, preventing Roxo from controlling successfully.
Roxo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Takeshi is keeping the position for now.
Roxo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Takeshi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Takeshi looking for a sweep. Not yet Takeshi, not yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Takeshi lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Roxo can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Takeshi and Roxo drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Takeshi.
