The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!
Jones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Rova is rocked!

Rova fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
Rova is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones stops a takedown attempt from Rova.
Rova keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Rova won't allow it.
Rova tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
Rova tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Rova shoots in but no luck this time.
Rova seems to have recovered his senses.
Mercury Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocco Rova.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rova moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Rova has a takedown stuffed.
Jones drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rova right on the button. Rova goes down! Jones follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Jones gets the win via TKO!
