Rutherford kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Genesis - Deep in the Motherlode. Cheesecake comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Los Bunkers - No Me Hables De Sufrir kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Chilean Cheesecake has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Cheesecake misses.
Cheesecake connects with a nice looking jab.
Rutherford tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Chilean Cheesecake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cheesecake misses with a few strikes there.
Rutherford feinted with a counter takedown.
Cheesecake connects with a jab.
A big right from Cheesecake misses.
Cheesecake connects with a looping right hand.
Rutherford's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cheesecake connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rutherford scrambles back to his feet.
Rutherford throws a sloppy head kick and Cheesecake moves out of range easily.
Rutherford uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cheesecake.
Rutherford on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Rutherford takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rutherford throws a leg kick but Cheesecake sees it coming and moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cheesecake lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Cheesecake avoids a kick to the body.
Cheesecake paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Cheesecake throws a poor cross that misses

and Rutherford counters with a takedown into side control.
Rutherford advances nicely into full mount.
Rutherford has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Rutherford has control of Cheesecake's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cheesecake regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Rutherford is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Cheesecake is forced to tap! Great finish!
