PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ichigo Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Leeroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosaki slips under a jab.

Leeroy throws an overhand right that lands on Kurosaki's shoulder, as Kurosaki tries to avoid the shot.

Leeroy has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kurosaki lands a vicious elbow to the side of Leeroy's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Kurosaki tries to finish him with strikes but Leeroy still seems able to defend himself so Kurosaki steps back and lets Leeroy get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

Kurosaki finds Leeroy's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Leeroy flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Kurosaki lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Leeroy will be OK.
