The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Hunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Escobar appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Escobar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hunt.
Hunt throws a lazy right hand but Escobar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Escobar throws a big counter head kick but Hunt avoids it with no problem.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

and Escobar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Escobar counters with a head kick that drops Hunt to the mat! Hunt scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Oh Hunt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Escobar makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Escobar takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Hunt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hunt seems to have got his legs back now.
Escobar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hunt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Escobar gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hunt jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Escobar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Hunt lands an overhand right.
Hunt steps in with a hook that catches Escobar right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Hunt follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Escobar looks absolutely devastated.
