Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Slevin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gordon Mundi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Slevin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to timber. Mundi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Swallow The Sun - Hold This Woe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tony Slevin has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gordon Mundi!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mundi throws a series of punches but Slevin avoids them all with ease.

Mundi has closed the distance and engaged Slevin in a clinch.
Slevin is working for takedown but Mundi is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mundi pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Mundi breaks from the clinch.
Slevin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Mundi lands a lovely overhand right.
Slevin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Slevin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mundi wants to clinch up but Slevin keeps it at a distance.
Mundi on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Mundi scores with a jab. Slevin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Mundi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Slevin counters with a nice uppercut.
Mundi misses with a straight right.
Mundi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A jab from Slevin misses.
Mundi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Slevin. Slevin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Slevin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A nice side step and Mundi releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Mundi tries to clinch up
and Slevin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Slevin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slevin fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Mundi to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Mundi looks to clinch but Slevin throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Mundi taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
