Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moise Daouda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Tarley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daouda drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tarley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tarley manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Tarley trying to hold on to Daouda's head to control him but Daouda postures up.

Daouda is working for a kimura but Tarley is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tarley is refusing to be controlled, as Daouda sits in half guard.
Tarley is trying to control but can't.

Tarley motions for Daouda to come forward. Tarley throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Tarley appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Tarley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Daouda avoids it really well and circles away.

Tarley shoots in but Daouda avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Daouda is looking to counter the offense by Tarley and move into the clinch.

Tarley shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daouda defends it nicely.

Daouda shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Tarley makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tarley.
Daouda makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tarley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daouda manages to get himself to full guard.

Tarley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daouda works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Tarley lands a right hook to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tarley.
Daouda drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tarley sprawls and moves away.
Tarley scores with a jab to the jaw.
Daouda tries to close the distance and clinch but Tarley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Daouda stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tarley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Daouda uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tarley.

Tarley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tarley is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Daouda is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tarley to keep the fight standing.
Daouda wants to take the fight to the mat but Tarley manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Daouda is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Tarley shoots in looking for a takedown but Daouda manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tarley's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tarley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Daouda off and has taken his back!
Daouda grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Tarley thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Tarley keeps control of the position as Daouda tries to break free.

Tarley is landing with strikes. Daouda can't take much more of this.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Daouda looking very determined here, making life difficult for Tarley.
Daouda is trying to get back to his feet but Tarley has full control of the position and if anything, Daouda has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Daouda is having to fend off submission attempts from Tarley, who is looking to sink in the choke. Tarley doesn't have the hooks in though and Daouda manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Tarley is trying to keep Daouda in close.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tarley tries to pass the half guard into mount. Daouda knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
